                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          THE CLOTH VILLA

The cloth villa is a series of books in which we get to know aristocracy and servants´ points of view during the First World War. It starts in 1913, a year before that occurs, ending six years later.

At first, the plot my seem a bit difficult to understand. However, as you follow the main characters, a main and Melzer´s young lord, one starts to fully comprehend their attitudes and reasons.

The fact that it is situates in such a complicated period of time is, if not the biggest, one of the most surprising things the readers are going to find. At the same time, numerous situations are shown so simple and close that makes the story feel like an exquisite tea, drunk slowly yet gracefully. Eres I to say something negative, it would be that, being the kind of book it is, it is not suggested to small kids, due to the complex grammar or circumstances appreciated in some parts of it.

In my opinion, someone who loves reading would adore having this as a present, even if they are not keen on Politics History.
